Dutch qualifier Kiki Bertens won her first WTA title by defeating Spaniard Laura Pous-Tio 7-5, 6-0 in the Grand Prix SAR final on Saturday.
The 20-year-old Bertens dropped serve twice but used her superior returns to break Pous-Tio three times in each set.







Qualifier Kiki Bertens beat two-time runner-up Simona Halep 6-3, 6-4 Friday to set up a Grand Prix SAR final against Laura Pous-Tio.
Two-time runner-up Simona Halep upset top- seeded former champion Anabel Medina Garrigues in Thursday's quarterfinal action at the $220,000 Moroccan Grand Prix tennis event.
