Barcelona will visit the Moroccan city of Tangier in the off-season to play a friendly match as part of their preparations for next season.

The game - which will be contested against a selection of local players led by Rachid Taoussi - is scheduled for July 28, and will be the Catalans' second pre-season friendly after an encounter with Hamburg on July 24.

Younes-Belhaf6s5d4f56sd4fndaMorocco international and Montpellier midfielder Younes Belhanda on Thursday clinched the 2012 Marc-Vivien Foe Prize as African best player of the French Ligue 1.

The 22-year-old scored 187 points to best Cameroon international defender of Marseille Nicolas Nkoulou and Gabon’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Saint Etienne. Thus, Belhanda succeeds Arsenal’s Ivorian-born Gervinho, who won the prize last year.

The two pugilists join national heavyweight champion, Daniel Shisia, in the semi final in the Super Heavyweight and flyweight categories.

Okoth got a unanimous three judge point decision having outclassed Schaffer Paul from South Africa to win the men’s Super Heavyweight bout (91kgs plus) 20-12.
