Casablanca Art Fair
The International Art Fair will open its doors in Casablabca, the heart of the economic capital of Morocco on December 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th 2009 at the Park of Exhibitions of the Exchanges Office.

Placed under the sign “Creation in plural”, this cultural and artistic manifestation stands for an optimal space of exchanges and dialogue where styles and tendencies, which make up the diversity of contemporary art, confront and reinforce each others. Unprecedented event, Placed under the sign “Creation in plural”, this cultural and artistic manifestation stands for an optimal space of exchanges and dialogue where styles and tendencies, which make up the diversity of contemporary art, confront and reinforce each others.

4500m2 of space reserved to the Fair, more than 170 exhibitors, young and confirmed ones, and a lot of visitors are expected to attend this event of a great order of magnitude, whose the unifying spirit rhymes with the internationally successful editions.

This event was conceived as a real opportunity of meetings between national and international artists, art lovers, private collectors, galleries and stakeholders annexes. Different actors in the art will then be together on the same platform so as to share their points of view about art and to promote their creations, all forms together.

Famous artists and promising young talents will meet and complete each others. Those exhibitors, from here and there, will be present in order to show off their skills and artistic sensibilities: painting, design, sculpture, video art, performances, installation, silkscreen, engraving, ceramics…

In order to energize and maximize the visibility of this initiative, many events will take place alongside with the exhibitions: Visio conferences, workshops for children, projections, artistic publications…

Through this artistic event, Casablanca, as a cosmopolite city, reinforces, once again, its dynamic position, that of a strategic place for fruitful meetings between local and foreign artists creators.

So, this intercultural appointment tends to encourage the promotion of art in all its richness and depth. It also intends to be registered in continuity of this movement of artistic effervescence that Morocco witnesses today.

General public and passionate about art will without any doubt be seduced by a rich content made up of strong emotions and sensations
