Dress Code PDF Print E-mail

The aim of the dress code is to contribute to a productive learning environment. By tradition, the dress code aims to ensure that students show good judgment, self-respect and respect for others. The dress code is expected to be followed every school day whether students are on campus or off. In simplest terms, the dress code includes plain solid white or navy collared/sleeved shirts (button-down or polo-style only) and khaki or navy slacks (not black), knee-length skirts, or knee-length shorts.

. Pants: worn at the waist, no jeans or “tights”.
. Shoes: no flip-flops or high heels.
. Head Covering: None except during recess or PE – or for explicitly religious reasons.
. Sweaters: solid neutral colors only; navy blue, red, white or grey (school colors).
. Jackets, Coats, Raincoats & Sweaters: students are allowed to wear solid-colored jackets during cold weather.

The school administration will have final say on all dress code interpretations.
