On Behalf of the entire American School of Tangier community, I welcome you. The American School of Tangier has an amazing past and we seek to celebrate it every day. However, my focus at present is on the future. I am committed to developing our program of learning that is ambitious, relevant, and prepares each student for a successful life as a committed global citizen. Therefore, I see quality instruction as the #1 objective of this school. This is supported by teachers who have relevant skills and an understanding of the best-practices in the Field of Education. As the American School of Tangier grows and evolves, it is important to understand that learning is why students are here. Whether you are an alumnus with children in our school, or whether you are new to the community, I welcome you and encourage you to better understand our vision, mission, values, and Expected School wide Learning Results (ESLR’s).
